Volunteering with Jasper Road P&C

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with JRPS P&C. Here are some simple steps to get you started:

  1. Submit your “Expression of Interest in Volunteering at P&C Events” Form (click the link or see below). This lets us know which events you would like to hear more about closer to the date. It is an expression of interest only and does not commit you to volunteering.
  2. Visit JRPS (school) front office to complete the required DET volunteer forms digitally. All volunteers are required to do this each calendar year. If you have not yet completed them this year and would like to volunteer, please do so as soon as possible.
  3. WWCC: A Working With Children Check is usually only required in two situations: if you would like to volunteer inside a P&C disco, or if you will be volunteering more than five times in a calendar year. If either of these applies to you, we encourage you to apply now and send us your WWCC number and expiry date. If you already have one, please include it in your submission.
  4. Please subscribe to our email list to hear about upcoming volunteer opportunities so you do not miss out. Our kids love seeing their parents and carers helping at school events.
  5. You are now volunteer ready. If you have completed the Expression of Interest form, we will be in touch. Otherwise, please email volunteer@jasperroadpandc.org to chat. The EOI form is also available below.

Please note: the school requires us to submit a list of confirmed volunteers two business days before each event. For this reason, volunteers usually cannot be added at the last minute, and some roles fill quickly.
