We invite all parents and carers to join.<\/p>\n<p>Our focus is to support\u00a0the executive team and staff of JRPS to ensure that\u00a0our students continue to access the best of experiences both inside and outside the classroom.\u00a0We do this by contributing to decision-making, developing policies and management plans as well as fundraising at Jasper Road Public School.<\/p>\n<p>The P&amp;C provides an opportunity for parent participation in the school. Some of the things our volunteers do for the school community include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Host discos for the students<\/li>\n<li>Hold trivia nights for the parent community<\/li>\n<li>Organise community BBQs<\/li>\n<li>Manage a range of fundraising events through the year<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>If you are interested in finding out more about the P&amp;C or interested in getting involved, come along to our meetings, email us or follow us on Facebook. We\u2019d love to hear your ideas.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph {\"textColor\":\"vivid-red\"} --><\/p>\n<p class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color\"><strong>How has our fundraising helped the school?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>Through our\u00a0fundraising activities the Jasper Road P&amp;C have previously assisted the school raise funds and contributed towards:\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Contributed towards the Basketball COLA<\/li>\n<li>Laptops for use by our students<\/li>\n<li>Blinds for the renovated school hall.<\/li>\n<li>Funds to assist in the landscaping of the school including the Anzac garden, new OOSH Hub, Soccer field and lower playground tiger turf<\/li>\n<li>Refurbishment of Kindergarten COLA<\/li>\n<li>Installation of water tanks<\/li>\n<li>Air conditioning, toilet\/classroom refurbishment<\/li>\n<li>Robotics equipment<\/li>\n<li>Funds to support school programs in areas such as Writing and Maths<\/li>\n<li>Funds to assist in the painting of classrooms<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph {\"textColor\":\"vivid-red\"} --><\/p>\n<p class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color\"><strong>How can you help?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>We rely on many hands to do what we do. All offers of help make a difference, and we welcome new faces!\u00a0\u00a0Some ways to help include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Come to P&amp;C meetings<\/li>\n<li>Help organise a fundraising event<\/li>\n<li>Help serve at fundraising stalls like Mother\u2019s and Father\u2019s Day<\/li>\n<li>Volunteer at one of our events such as community BBQs<\/li>\n<li>Help us to seek donations from local businesses<\/li>\n<li>Bake for one of our fundraising bake sales<\/li>\n<li>Help us apply for grants<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>To find a job that suits you, come to our next meeting or join our volunteer list by emailing <strong>volunteer@jasperroadpandc.org<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color\"><strong>Why join in?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All parents and carers are invited to join the P&amp;C. Being part of the P&amp;C provides a great opportunity to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Meet others in the school community and make new friends<\/li>\n<li>Help raise funds to support improvements to the school which benefit all students<\/li>\n<li>Understand more about what happens at school<\/li>\n<li>See students enjoying the fun events held throughout the year<\/li>\n<li>Share your experience to help us reach our goals<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1967\" data-end=\"2149\"><strong data-start=\"1967\" data-end=\"1994\">Membership and Meetings<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1444\" data-end=\"1630\">Membership is open to all parents\/carers and citizens within the school\u2019s area, and new members are always welcome. A joining fee of $1.00 per year applies.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1632\" data-end=\"1746\">Meetings are held on Monday evenings at 7:00pm, either online or in the Staff Room in the Administration building.<\/p>\n<h6 data-start=\"2267\" data-end=\"2284\">Meeting schedule 2026:<\/h6>\n<ul data-start=\"2285\" data-end=\"2366\">\n<li data-section-id=\"tg89us\" data-start=\"2285\" data-end=\"2308\">\n<p data-start=\"2287\" data-end=\"2308\">Term 1: Weeks 5 and 8<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"dgq6k2\" data-start=\"2309\" data-end=\"2342\">\n<p data-start=\"2311\" data-end=\"2342\">Term 2: Weeks 3, 5 and 9 (meetings moved due to public holidays in week 2 &amp;
